Romford Shopping
Two of our lovely ladies enjoyed being taken to Romford where they had a spot of lunch and spent the day shopping.
Kath, Margaret, Anna and Maz had a fantastic time together. With the weather being kind to us, they were able to sit outside, soak up the late summer sunshine, share plenty of laughs, enjoy a tasty meal, and relax with a nice cup of tea. It was a simple pleasure, but one that brought lots of smiles and created some lovely memories.
And while it may not be considered the coolest thing these days, Margaret has always enjoyed a cigarette after a good meal, and being able to enjoy one while out with friends made the afternoon feel even more special for her. It is these personal moments and familiar routines that can mean so much.
Days like these would not be possible without our amazing Activities Team. They work incredibly hard to create meaningful experiences, encourage independence, and ensure our residents continue to enjoy the things that matter most to them. After a busy day making memories, they certainly deserved to sit back and enjoy a refreshing cool drink in the late summer sunshine.
