Happy New Year - 2026
At the start of 2026, our residents were provided with a lovely church service. This is carried out monthly for our residents and remains a comforting practice, that despite their Dementia struggles they recognise and find meaningful.
The residents are each given a hymn book and they enjoy recalling and singing well-known hymns, often dating back to when they were kids.
They will recite prayers that are embedded in their memories, such as the lord prayer. Each prayer taken seriously and respectfully.
The vicar and her team are so friendly and welcoming to our residents and we thank them for supporting our residents with their religious and spiritual needs.
