Home Baking
Last week our residents enjoyed a baking activity. This type of activity always brings back a lot of memories for our residents, it sparks conversations about recipe's, their mums home baking and cooking for their kids.
We decided that we were going to make a selection of cheese and savoury twists.
We cheated a little with ready-made pastry however, we floured the table and got to work rolling it out nice and flat
We lined our rolled-out pastry with either cheese or a sweet filling.
Folded the pastry and rolled it out so that it was evenly spread.
Then we got to work on making the twists, this was a technical bit and got the residents thinking and being creative.
There we have our finished products ready to bake. This was a delightful afternoon, enjoyed by all.
