We are pleased to announce that George Brooker House is on the shortlist for the national title of 'Best Dementia Care Home 2013'.
The residents, relatives and staff of George Brooker House are like an extended family and we pride ourselves on individuality, feelings, love and laughter and this seems to come natural to everyone. So to be on this shortlist is an honour for everybody!
Dementia care is something we are passionate about; At George Brooker House we pride ourselves on seeing a person for who they are and what they are about. Dementia for us is just a medical term it is not a definition of a person.
